An Ordinance providing for the construction of certain water service
9 pipes in the Clay of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas=
Section 1. That the owner or owners of any and all real
estate in the City of Salina, Kansas and abutting
On Sunset Drive from Ninth Street,to Highland
Circle, being Lots 1-6-7-8-9-10-;1-12-13-14-15-
16-17-18 in Block 1, Highland Court Addition to
the City of Salina, Kansas; Lots 1-6-7-8-9-10-
11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18 in Block 2, Highland
Court Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas.
Be and are hereby required and ordered to construct and lay or to
cause to be constructed and laid on or before the 10th day of
April 1924, water service pipes from the eater mains where situate
in the street whereon said real estate so described abutts to the
back of the curb line, said water service pipes to be constructed
and laid in the manner and of the size and material as specified
and required by the provisions of Ordinance No. 2414 of the City of
Salina, Kansas, which said Ordinance Number 2410 is by reference
hereby incorporated in and made a part of this ordinance.
Section 2. That if the owner or owners of any of the real
estate above described shall fail, neglect or refuse to so con-
struct or cause to be constructed or laid said water service pipes
before the lath day of April 1924, then the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Salina, Kansas shall as soon as practicable agter
the 10th day of April, 1924, and before the laying and construction
of any ,pavement upon the street above described, cause such water
service pipes as described in Section One (l) hereof to be construct
ed by contract according to lave,
Section 3, That the cost and expense of the construction
and laying of any and all such water service pipes, if built by
c
the City of Salina, Kansas under the provisions of Section Two (2)
l hereof, shall be assessed against the lots and pieces of ground
abutting on the street on which such improvement is made, according
to the cost incurred by said City in making said improvement for
each of said described lots or parcels of ground, which special
assessments shall be by the City Clerk certified to the County
Clerk of .aline County, Kansas to be by him collected in like man-

ner as other tares and special assessments are collected according
to law.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its publication once in the official City
paper.

An Ordinance providing for the construction of certain water service pipes
in the City of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of any and all real estate in the
City of Salina, Kansas and abutting

required by the provisions of Ordinance No. 2410of the City cf Salina, Kansas, which
said Ordiancne No.2410 is be reference hereby incorporated in and made a part of
this Ordinance.
Section 2. That if the owner or owners of any of the real estate above described
shall fail, negelect or refuse to so construct or cause to be constructed or laid
said water service pipes before the 1 Q --day of 1924, then the Board of
Commnissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, shall as soon as practicable after
theme -a, day of C"u j 1924, and before the jaying and construction of ajLy
pavement upon the street above described, cause such water service pipes as
described in Section one (1) hereof to be constructed by contract according to law.
Section 3. That the cost and expense of the construction and lsy ing of any and
all such water service pipes, if built by the City of Salina, Kansas under the
provisions of Section Two (2) hereof, shall be assessed against the lots and
pieces of ground abutting on the street on which such improvement is made, accord-
ing to the cost incurred by said City in making said improvement for each of said
described lots or parcels of ground, which special assessments shall be by the
City Clerk certified to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be by him
collected in like manner as other taxes and special assessments are collected
