ORDINANCE NO. 2879
An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
,aline, Kansas.:
Section 1. That the sum of 032,652.37 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the Memorial Hall Fund in the City
Treasury for the payment of.the following claim;
Peterson Construction Final payment on Gen -
Company eral Contract $32,652.37
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is.
hereby authorized -to issue a warrant in the amount of $32,372.37
countersigned by the City Manager -upon the City.Treasurer for
part payment.of the claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this
ordinance, and that the balance of 0280.00.be payable January
15th, 1924 and bearing interest from July 27th, 1923 at the
rate of six per cent (6,%).
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and bein
full force from and after its passage..
Passed and approved, November 26th, 1923.

Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $32,652.37 be and the same
is hereby appropriated out of the Memorial Hall Fund in the
City Treasury for the payment of the following claim:
Peterson Construction Final payment on General
Company, Contract $320652.37
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to issue a warrant in the amount of $32,372.37
countersigned by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for
part payment of the claim mentioned in section One (1) of this
ordinance, and that the balance of $280.00 be payable January
15th, 1924 and bearing interest from July 27th, 1923 at the
rate of six per cent (6%).
