2869 Appropriations_ ORP.INANCE_NO.2869_ _ An Ordinance making an appropriation for the purchase of time certificates of deposit from the Sinking Fund of the City of Salina, Kansas. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of Y$3500.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the Sinking Fund in the City Treasury of the City of Salina, Kansas for the investment of cer- tificates of deposit in the various banks of the City of Salina, Kansas, ranging in time twelve (12) months and drawing four (4) percent interest per annum. Section 2. That the Director of the Department of Einance be and he is hereby directed to issue warrants, countersigned by the City Manager upn the City Treasurer for the purpose and amount specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
