An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a cer-
tain claim.
BE 1'1: uRDA1NED by the Board of Commissioners of the 'jity of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. 'fhat the sum of x;23,778.88 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to M. R. Amerman out of the upecial
Paving Fund in the hands of the city YTreasurer•of the tjity of
Salina, Kansas for the payment of balance due on paving con-
tracts dated March 15th, 1923, April 23rd, 1923 and June 12th,
1923 according to itemized account now on file in -the office
of the -City clerk of said City.
Section 2. That the Director of the Department of Finance
be and he 1s hereby authorized to issue a warrant countersigned
by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the payment of
the claim mentioned in Section One (1) -of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full -force from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $23,778.88 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to M. R. Amerman out of the
