An Ordinance making an appropriation for the.payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 465,563.79 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to M. R. Amerman from the Special
Paving Fund in the City 'Treasury of the City of Salina, Kan-
sas for tae payment of 85% of the contract price for the cost
of curbing, guttering, excavating and paving certain streets
in the City of oalina, Kansas according to City Engineer's
Estimate Number 5, on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said 6ity.
atction 2. That scrip of.the City of Salina, Kansas be
drawn on the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim men-
tioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be
payable on or before September 1st, 3.923 and to bear no interest.
Section 3.. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.
