An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $63,250.75 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to M. R. Amerman from the Special Paving Fund in the
hands of the City Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas for the pay-
ment of 85% -of the contract price for the cost of excavating,g rad-
-ing, park -curbing, curbing and guttering certain streets in the City
of Salina, Kansas, according to City Engineer's Estimate Number Four
,(4) on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 8. That scrip of the Uity of Salina, nansas be drawn
on the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned in See -
tion One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be payable on or, before
September'lst, 1923 and to -bear no interest.
Section 3. •i'his ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
-from and after its passage.
