2903 Construct Railroad trackORDINAIT(J"E NM,41BEE1_T'Z 2903., ' An Ordinance granting to Mlissouri Pacific Railroad Company, its successors and assigns, the right to construct, maintain and operate a standard gauge railroad track over and across Eighth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas. BE, IT ORL-MAIMED by the Board of Cormissioners of the City of Salina., Kansas: Section 1. Taissouri Pacific Railroad Company is hereby granted the right to construct, and it and its successors and assigns the right to n-aintain and operate a standard gauge rail- road track, over and across Eighth Street in the City of Salina, ti Kaneas in a location described as follows: Beginning at the end of the present Missouri Pacific Railway Co. switch track approximately 'forty (40) feet east of the east line of Eighth Street and approximately ninety-five (95) feet south of the south 'Line of Pine Street., thence running in a northwesterly direction across Eighth Street and connecting with the Missouri Pacific switch track approximately One hundred and sixty-five (165) feet northwesterly of the however point of beginning; PROVIDED, .1 that no switch frog or switch points used in connection with the construction or operation of such track shall be placed in said Eighth Street or at any point between the east and west lines of said street. Section 2. Said railroad track and the paving and street crossing affected thereby shall be constructed, maintained and operated in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas and the ordinances of the City of Salina., now in force or hereafter adopted. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in 41 force from and after its publication once in the official City paper. Introduced for first reading, December 3rd, 1923.
