An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Comissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section l.- That the sur:. of $3,247.05 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to Chas. W. Shaver out of the General
Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of the City of Salina,
Kansas for the payment of balance due on account of architectural
services in connection with 'Memorial Hall Building.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue scrip for the payment of the claim mentioned
in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be payable
January 22nd, 1924 and to bear interest at the rate of six (6)
per cent from date of issue.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.
