An Ordinance making an,appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE -IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, nansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $85,286.53 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to m. R. Amerman from the Special Pav-
ing Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer.of the City of
Salina, Kansas for the payment of 85�6 of the contract price
for the cost of excavating, grading, park -curbing, curbing and
guttering certain streets in the City of Salina. Kansas according
to City Engineer's Estimate Number 3, on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas be
drawn on the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim men-
tioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be
payable on or before September 1st2 1923 and to bear no interest.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
