AN ORDINANCE levying special assessments against certain lots and
tracts of land in the City of Salina to pay the cost of con-
demnation of certain land for the opening, widening and ex-
tending of Eleventh Street in said city from the south line
of Park Street to a point 130 ft. south of the south line of
said Park Street and providing for the collection for such
special assessments.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the amounts set forth following the des-
cription of lots or tracts of land hereinafter set forth, be and
they are hereby levied and assessed against such lots or tracts
of land for the payment of amounts assessed agairst lots or tracts
of land on account of the opening, widening and extending of Eleventh
Street -in --the City of Salina from the south line of Park Street to
a point 130 feet south of said south line of Park Street, in accord-
ance with the report of the Commissioners appointed for such purpose,
as heretofore filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 7th, 1928 and
accepted and approved by the Board of Commissioners on May 14th, 1928
by ordinance No. 3534, such amounts so levied and assessed being as
follows:

Section 2. That unless said sums are paid on or before 30
days from the date this ordinance takes effect, the City
Clerk shall
certify the assessments so made and in the amounts as aforesaid
then
remaining unpaid to the County Clerk of Saline County,,Kansas, at the
same time and in the same manner as other assessments are
certified
and the same shall be assessed against the tracts of land
as herein-
before set forth and collected as other taxes ggainst said
land are
collected.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full
force from and after its publication once in the official
city paper.
