3548 AppropriationsAN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of X12,267.06 be and the same is here- by appropriated to L, W. Rexroad from the; Special Paving. Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85yo of the contract price for materials furnished and labor performed prior to June 1st, '1928 in the construction of street improvements under a Certain contract dated April 16th, 1928. Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section one (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before 90 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four and one-fourth (4-1/4%) per cent per annum, Section 3 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
