An Ordinance levying a special assessment against certain
property herein described to pay the cost of moving
and constructing certain water service pipes and curb
cocks in connection with the re -paving, curbing and
re -guttering of Fifth Street in the City of Salina,
Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied
and assessed againit'the real estate hereinafter described
a special tax or assessment for the purpose of paying the
cost of moving and constructing certain water service pipes
and cocks in connection with the re-ptving, guttering and
re -curbing of Fifth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas
from the south line of Ash Street to the north line of
Walnut Street in said City, in the amount set opposite the
description of said property, to -wit:
Lot 120 on Fifth Street, Galina, Kansas -----X33.10
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed and
authorized to immediately certify the assessments made in
Section One (1) of this ordinance to the County Clerk of
Saline County, Kansas to be placed upon the tax roll for
collection, subject to the same penalties and collected in
like manner as other taxes.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the offi-
cial City paper.
