An Ordinance making a levy of taxes for general revenue and
other purposes in the City of Salina, Kansas for the
year 1925.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of .0078 mills on the dollar
be and the same is hereby levied on all real, personal and mixed
property of whatsoever kind or nature within the City of Salina,
Kansas for the year 1925 for the purposes hereinafter set forth
and apportioned and divided as follows:
For General Revenue -------------------------------
For the puBpose of raising funds for the maintenance
of a Fire epartment and for the purchase of
equipment=-----------------------------------------
For Memorial Hall Fund ----------------------------
ForPark Fund ------------------------------------
For General Improvement Fund ---------------------
For Light & Water Fund ---------------------------
ForBand Fund ------------------------------------
For paying Interest on General Bonds -------------
For Library Fund ----------------------------------
For Sinking Fund - --------------------------------
For Annual Installment and Interest on Bonds issued
to pay for the improving and paving of squares and

Section 2. That the sum�of-:0009 on the dollar be and
the same is hereby levied on all real estate in the City of
Salina, Kansas for the year 1925 for the purpose of paying the
annual interest and installment on Sewer Bonds issued during
1915-1916-1917-1918-1919-1920-1922-;923 and 1924.
Section 3. That valuation of the property upon which the
foregoing taxes are levied and assessed be in all cases taken
from the assessment rolls of the present year in the office of
the County'Clerk of Saline County, Kansas and that it shall be
the duty of the City Clerk of the City of Salina.. Kansas, im-
mediately upon the after the passage of this ordinance and on or
before the 25th day of August 1925 to transmit a duly certified
copy of the same to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas,
so that the levy may be placed upon the tax roll and the taxes
collected according to law.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its publication once in the
official City paper.
