An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $8,025.91 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving rund in the
City Treasury ofrSalina, Kansas for the payment of 85% of the' con-
tract price for the curbing, guttering, paving and re -curbing of cer-
tain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas, according to City Engin-
eer's Estimate Number 1 on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said City.
Section 2. That Temporary Notes of the City of Salina, Kansas
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, to be payable as follows.
Temporary Note in the amount of $3,000.00 to be payable
30 days from date;
Temporary Note in the amount of $5,025.91 to be payable
60 days from date,
said notes to draw interest at the rate of 6$ per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.

Section 1. That the sum of 48,025.91 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special
Paving Fund in the City Treasury of Salina, lia.nsas for the
payment of 85% of the contract price for, the curbing, gutter-
ing., paving and re -curbing of certain streets in the City of
Salina, :Kansas, according to City Engineer's Estimate Number 1
on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
