3505 AppropriationsORDINANCE NO. 3505
AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation and
transfer of certain unexpended balances in certain sub-
divisions or departments of the General Fund to an.account
designated as the Unexpended Balance Account of the General
Fund, and authorizing and directing the transfer of certain
amounts from said unexpended balance account to certain other
funds.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the unexpended balances existing in certain
departments or sub-divisions.of the General Fund as of December 31,
1927 as follows:
Administration & Finance $1436.14
Law Department 7939.26
Engineering Department 2648.76
Auto Repair Department -1130.83
Milk Inspection Department 625.88
all aggregating the total sum of #13,780.87, be and they are hereby
transferred to a sub -division of the General Fund designated as the
Unexpended Balance Account there be transferred to the following funds,
or sub -division of the General Fund the following amounts to take care
of the deficits occurr-'rig in said funds or sub -divisions of General
Fund as of December 31st,, 1927, to -wit:
Band fund 510.83
Park Fund 284.45
Memorial Hall Fund 753.27.
Building Department 1131.45
Street Department 200.52
Police Department 4992.51
all aggregating the total sum of $7,873.03 and the City Treasurer is
hereby authorized and directed to make the proper entries in his books
as of December 31st, 1927 transferring said amounts as hereinabove
provided for.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
