3504 AppropriationsI E I ORDINANCE NO. 3504 AN ORDINANCE relating to the appropriation of certain money from the Bond Sinking �`und for the purchase of certain Judg- ment Bonds of the City of Salina. WHEREAS., by Ordinance Number 3437 passed July 25, 1927, the sum of $41,626.64 was appropriated out of the Sinking Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer for the purchase of certain Judgment Bonds of the City of Salina dated April, 1, 1927, at par and accrued interest., and WHEREAS, the actual amount of the par value and accrued interest of certain bonds on said date was $40,566.67 instead of the amount first above mentioned, which was fixed in said ordinance as result of error in computation and, WHEREAS, said errors should be corrected and the City Treasurer authorized to make the proper entries on his books correcting said errors as of the date of the original passage of said ordinance., NOW THEREFOhE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 11. That the sum of 441,626.64 be're-appropriated out of the Water and Light Fund and replaced in the Sinking Fund (Investment Account), in order to replace each of said funds in the condition in which they existed prior to the passage of said ordinance of July 25, 1927 and that there and is hereby re -appro- priated out of the Sinking Fund (Investment Account) the sum of $40,000.00, being the par value of said bonds and out ofnthe Sinking Fund (accrued interest) the sum of $566.67, the accrued interest on said bonds from their date to July 25, 1927 and that the total amount so appropriated in the suni'of $40$566,67 to be placed in the Water & Light Fund, all as of July 25, 1927, and that the City Treasurer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make the proper entries on his boods of account to show such corrections as herein provided for.
