ORDINANCE NO. 3496

AN ORDINANCE relating to ' the salaries and compensation of certain city
officers and repealing certain ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the salary of the Chief of the Fire Department
be and the same is hereby fixed at $1800 a year.
Section 2. That the salary of the Superintendent of Streets
be and the same is hereby fixed at 02400.00 per year; provided that
such superintendent shall furnish and operate at this own expense.,
an automobile to be used by him in the course of his duties.
Section 3. That the salaries herein provided for shall take
effect as of January lst, 1928.
Section 4. That Section 10 of ordinance No. 3323, and that
part of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2919, (being See. 6-308 Rev. Ord.
1925), which is specifically in conflict herewith, and all other
ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with theprovisions
of this ordinance, be and they are herebyin so far as they so conflict,
repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
