3053 Regulating VehiclesAn Ordinance regulating the operation of vehicles on certain streets
and at certain intersections in the City of Salina, Kansas and
providing a penalty for the violation thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That no vehicle shall enter Prescott Avenue in the
City of Salina, Kansas from Highland Avenue without first beim
brought to a full and complete stop.
Section 2. That no vehicle shall enter Fifth Street in the City
of Salina, Kansas from Prescott Avenue without first being brought to
a fall and complete stop.
Section 3. That it'shall be the duty of the Superintendent of
Streets to install and maintain at the intersections above mentioned
suitable markings to notify the public of the regulations herein pro-
vided for.
Section 4. That any person driving, operating or in charge of any
vehicle who shall violate=or permit the violation of the provisionsof
Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor an(
upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding 25.00.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and -be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official City paper.
