An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $l,509.60 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to J. L. Rayl from the Special Paving r"und in the
City Treasury of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 85%
of the contract price for the cost of widening Fifth Street in the
City of Salina, Kansas from the south line of Ash Street to the
north line of Walnut Street therein, according to City Engineer's
Estimate Number 2 on f_.le in the office of the City Clerk of said
City.
Section 2: That a 'Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or h•efore
February lst, 1925 and to draw interest at the rate'of six (5) per
centum per annum.
Section 3. this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $1,509.60 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to J. L. Rayl from the Special

Kansas for the payment of 850 of the contract price for
the cost of widening Fifth Street in the City of Salina,
nansas from the south line of Ash Street to the north
line of Walnut Street therein, according to City Ehgineer's
Estimate Dumber 2 on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said City:
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of
Salina, Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim
mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said
Temporary Note to be payable on or before February 1st,
1925 and to draw interest at the rate of six (6%) per
centum per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage.'
