AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT 0kDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina,, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 4622,551.13 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company,
from the Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of
final estimate for materials furnished and labor performed in
the construct -ion of street paving and appurtenances under con-
tract dated June 28th., 1927, according to City Engineer's estimate
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he
is hereby authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the
City Manager upon,the City Treasurer for the payment of the
claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in full f6rce from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of

the same is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction
Company, from the Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the
payment of final estimate for materials furnished and labor
performed in the construction of street paving and appurtenances
under contract dated June 28th, 1927, according to City
