inance creating the office of Electrical Inspector in and
for the City of Salina, Kansas; regulating and defining
the duties of such office and establishing rules and reg-
ulations -concerning the installation, operation and main-
tenance of electrical wiring and appliances and fixing
penalties for_, the violation of the provisions of this
ordinance;and repealing Ordinance Number 2500 and all
other ordinances in conflict with this ordinance" by add-
ing thereto a new section to be known as..Section 7A, pro-
viding that no permit be issued under --said ordinance
until a license as required thereby shall have been first
secured and paid for.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners.of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That Ordinance Number 3003 entitled, An Ord-
inance creating the office of Electrical Inspector in and for
the City of Salina, Kansas; regulating and defining the duties
of such office and establishing rules and regulations concern-
ing the, installation, operation and maintenance of electA cal
wiring and appliances and fixing penalties for the violation of
the provisions of this ordinance and repealing Ordinance Num-
ber 2500 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance," be amended by adding thereto
a new section to be known as Section "7A" which shall read as
follows:
"Section 7A -- No permit as provided for in Section Seven
(7) of this ordinance shall be granted or issued to any per -
s'on, firm or corporation unless and until such person, firm

or .corporation shall have secured and paid for a license as
required by Section ivumber Six (6) of this ordinance, and un -
loss and until all other provisions and requirements necessary
to be done and performed, prior to the granting of any such
license or permit shall have been fully complied with by the
person, ,firm or corporation applying for such permit."
Section 2. 1his ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the official
City paper.
