An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the.sum of $5,076.37 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to J. L. Rayl from the Special Paving Fund in the hands
of the City Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of
85% of the contract price for the cost of widening Fifth Street in
the City of Salina, Kansas, from the south line of Ash Street to the
north line of Walnut Street therein, according to City Engineer's
Estimate Number 1. on file in- the office of the City. Clerk of said
City.
Section 2. That Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas
-be issued for the payment.of the claimmentioned in section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
February lst,:1925 and.to draw interest at the rate of 6% per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
