AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $6,971.34 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the
Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85%
for labor performed and materials furnished in the construction
of pavements and appurtenances thereto, under a contract dated
June 29th, 1927, according to City Engineer's Estimate Number 4
on file in the office of the City Clerk of Salina, Kansas,
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or
before 30 days :from date, and to bear interest at the rate of four
and one-half per cent (41%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
