BE IT ORDkINED_by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of 62500.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated out.of the moneys from _the Sinking Fund in the City Treasury of the City of .Salina,. Kansas for the investment of certificates of deposit in.the various banks of the City of Salina, Kansas, ranging in -time. twelve months and drawing four per cent (4,%) interest per annum. Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby directed to issue warrants countersigned by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the.purpose and amount specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
