AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $60387.20 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the
Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payments of 65%
for labor performed and materials furnished prior to September lst,
1927 in the construction of pavements and appurtenances thereto,
under a contract dated June 29th, 1927, according to City e'ngineer's
Estimate number 2 6n file in the office of the City Clerk of Salina
Kansas,
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on
or befbre 60 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of
four and one-half (4-,1f%) per cent per annum.
-Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.

is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company
from the Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the
payment of 85% for labor performed and materials furnished
prior to September 1st, 1927 in the construction of pavements
and appurtenances thereto, under a contract dated June 29th,
1927s according to City Engineer's Estimate number 2 on
file in the office of the City Clerk of Salina, Kansas,
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of.
Salina, Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim -men-
tioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, saidCTemporary.
Note to be payable on or before _days from date; and to
draw interest at the rate of four and one-half (4&),aper cent _
per annum. f
