3459 AppropriationsAN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1, That the sum of $1,195.19 be and the same is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract price for materials furnished in the construction of pavements and appur- tenances thereto, under a contract dated June 29th, 1927, according to City Engineer's Estimate Number 2 on file in the office of the City Clerk of Salina, Kansas. Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before 60 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four and one-half percent (4j%) per annum. -Lection 3.
