AN ORDINANCE levying special assessment against certain property
to pay the cost of constructing certain water service pipes
in certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas.

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners have heretofore ordered the
owners of the property hereinafter described to lay water service
pipes from the water mains in the streets abutting thereon at the
curb the

�. cu line in said streets, prier to the paving thereof,
and
WHEREAS, notice was duly given by publication in the official
city paper of said order and the owners of the property herein-
after described did not within 30 days after the lastublication
of said notice lay said service pipe and the citylaid or caused the
same to be laid, pursuant to.seetion 12-832 to 128833 of the Revised
Statutes of Kansas, 1923, and the cost thereof has been ascertained,
and remains unpaid by the property owners liable therefor, NOW THERE -
PORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:

ORDINANCE NO. 3451.
An Ordinance levying special assessment against certain property
to pay the cost of constructing certain water service
pipes in certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners have heretofore ordered
the owners of the property hereinafter described to lay water
service pipes from the water mains in the streets abutting
thereon at the back of the curb line in said streets, prior
to the paving thereof, and
WHEREAS, notice was duly given by publication in the official
city paper bf said order and the owners of the property here-
inafter described did not within 30 days after the last publica-
tion of said notice lay said service pipe and the city laid
or c aused the same to be laid, pursuant to section 12-832 to
12-833 of the Revised Statutes of Kansas, 1923, and the cost
thereof has been ascertained, and remains unpaid by the property
owners liable therefor; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas;
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied
and assessed against.esch of the lots and parts of lots here-
inafter described, a special tax or assessment for the purpose
of paying that part of the cost of constructing and laying
said water service pipes taxable against such lots and parts
