AN ORDINANCE vacating a part of Twelfth Street between Iron Avenue
and Walnut Street.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salinas
Kansas:.
Section 1. That that part of Twelfth Street in the City of
Salinas Kansas between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street, which is parti-
cularly described as follows, to -wit: Commencing at a point in said
street fifty (50) feet due east of the northeast corner of Lot 1 on
University Place in University Addition; thence east 30.3 feet more or
less, to the northwest corner of Lot 6 on Eleventh Street in Phillips
Second Addition; thence south along the west lines of Lots, 6,8,10:12,
14,16,18 and 20 on Eleventh Street in Phillips Second Addition to the
Southwest Corner of said Lot 20; thence west 31 feet more or less, along
the south line of said Lot 20, extended wests to a point 50 feet due
east of the east line of Lot 1 on Walnut Street in University Addition;
thence north parallel with and fifty feet east of the east line of
University Additions being the west line of Twelfth Street, to the
point of beginning; be and the same is hereby vacated and that the
strip of land above deveribed which lies immediately west of and adjacent
to that part of Phillips Second Addition above described, shall revert to
and become a part of said lots 6,8,10,12,14,16,18 and. 20 on Eleventh
Street in Phillips Second Addition;
Section. 2, This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper and upon
the filing of a copy thereof, together with the proef of publication
thereof, in the office of the Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas.
