An.Ordinance making a special assessment and levy of taxes for the
cutting of weeds on certain lots and parts of lots in the City
of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby levied a special tax
for the year 1{24, in addition to the tax for general revenue and
other purposes for said year, for the purpose of paying for the
cutting of weeds by the City of Salina, Kansas from August 1st, 1923
to August 16th, 1924 on the lots and parts of lots against which said
taxes are levied, said tax to be levied on the lots and parts of
lots described as follows, and to be in the amounts as follows, to -
wit: /

section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify
to the assessments made in Section One (1)of this ordinance
to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be placed on
the tax roll for collection, subject to the same penalties
and to be collected in the same manner as other taxes are
collected.
Jection 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the offi-
cial City paper.
