AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation forthe payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $41,626.64 be and the same is
hereby,appropriated out of the Nater & Light Fund in the City Treasury
for the purpose of retiring and paying a certain judgment against
the City of Salina, Kansas in favor of the Salina Waterworks Company
Section 20 That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (l) of t his ordinance.
Section 3. _ This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
