AN ORDINANCE -making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
. claims.
RE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $10,105.86 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to Eberhardt and Shriver, from the Special
Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the con-
tract price for worm completed prior to July 30th, 1927 in the
construction of sewers under contract dated June 3rd, 1927.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before 90 days from date, and to draw interest at
the rate of four and three-fourths (4-3/4/) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.
