An Ordinance making an appropriation for the purchase of time cer-
tificates of deposit from the Sinking 1''un d of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of X3,000.00 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the moneys from, the Sinking Fund in
the City Treasury of the City of-alina, Kansas for the invest-
ment of certificates of deposit in the various banks of the City
of Salina, Kansas, ranging in time twelve (12) months and draw-
ing four per cent ('4%) interest per annum.

Section 2. 'That the Director of Finance be and he is here-
by authorized and directed to issue warrants countersigned by the
City manager upon the Uity Treasurer for the purpose and amount
specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance.

Section 3. i"pis ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from, and after its passage.

of the City of Salina, Kansas.
BE ZT OaDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $3,000.00 be and the
same is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the
Sinking Fund in the City Treasury of the City of Salina,
Kansas for the investment of certificates of `deposit in
the various banks of the City of Salina, Kansas, ranging
in time twelve (12) months and drawing four (4%) per cent
