An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDl.INED by the IBoard of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
section 1. That the sum of 110,705.32 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the Water and Light hAnd in the City
Treasury for the full and complete payment of the amount now due
to The Salina Water Works Company on account of water furnished
to the City of Salina by said The Salina dater Works Company
from March 23rd, 1923 to and including June 30th, 1924.
353 Hydrants actually installed on the mains of the Company prior
to Match 23, 1923 as shown by statement furnished by Company.
5 Hydrants on Marymount extension covered by agreement Nazareth
Convent, Water Company and City of Salina;
12 free Hydrants as per agreement;
70 -Hydrants to be paid for as per agreement.
326 Hydrants at $60.00 each per year from March.23, 1923 to
June 30, 1924 (15 months, 1 week) 124,830.33
10 Hydrants at $37.50 each per ,year from March 23, 1923
to June 30, 1924 (15 months 1 week) .......... 476.03

Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City- Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
