An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDL NED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 41,465.26 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to C. P. Barrington from the Special Pav-
ing Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of the City of
Salina, Kansas in final payment of the contract price of the
cost of excavating, grading, curbing, guttering and paving cer-
tain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas, according to City
Engineer's Final EstimateNumber 2-A on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said Uity.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One ll) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before September 1st, 1924 and to bear interest
at the rate of one and one-fourth per cent (14%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.
BE IT ORDk1NED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $19465.26 be and
the same is hereby appropriated to C. P. Barrington from
the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasur-
er of the City of Salina, nansas, in final payment of the
contract price of the cost of excavating, grading, curbing,
guttering and paving certain streets in the City of Galina,
Kansas according to City Engineer's Final Estimate Number
2-A, on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City
of Salina, Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim
mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Tern-
porary Note to be payable on or before September 1st, 1924
and to bear interest at the rate of one and one-fourth per
cent (1-1/4%) per annum.
Section 3. chis ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage.
