ORDINANCE NUMBER 3004.
An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim
BE IT ORDAINED by the board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $18,258.77 be and the same is here -
by appropriated to C. P. Barrington from the Special Faving rund in
the hands of the City Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas, in
final payment of the contract price of the cost of excavating, grad-
ing, curbing, guttering and paving certain streets in the City of Sa-
lina, Kansas, according to City Engineer's Final Estimate Number 5
on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, nan-
sas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One
(1) of this ordinance, said 'Temnorary Note to be payable on or be-
fore September 1st, 1924 and to bear interest at the rate of one
and one-fourth (1-1/4) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.

Salina, Kansas:
