That for the purpose of paying for the cost of Lot 7, Block 7 -------------------------- building and constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewers in Lateral Sewer Districts Nos, 129, 130: 132, 1332 135 and 1400 as authorized by 136.35 100.00 the provisions of Ordinance No. 3376 for which a contract has been East 50 ft. Said amounts levied, apportioned and assess- ed as aforesaid, shall be due and collectible in ten equal installments, the first becoming due with the taxes levied for the year 1927 and one of said installments falling due each and every year thereafter until all are paid, and all to be collected with interest as in this ordin- ance provided,; PROVIDED, that the owner of any piece of property liablez for any` such assessment may redeem his property from such liability by paying into the City Treasury the entire amount charge- able against the same, as in this ordinance designated, at any time, within thirty days after the publication of this ordinance and be- fore the issuance of the bonds of said City in payment of the balance of said improvements, and his property so paid on shall not there- after be liable for any further assessment for the cost of said im- provements, nor for any part of said bonds. Section 11. There is hereby further levied and assessed against each lot and piece of ground described in this ordinance L percent interest per annum on all of said installments therein mentioned from the date of the bonds, which may be issued at the end of thirty days, as specificed in the preceding section hereof, as by law provided to the time of collection of the last installment, as provided by law, which said interest shall be collected annually at the same time and in the same manner as said installments are collected; and after the taking effect of t his ordinance it shall be the duty of the City Clerk of said City to annually at the same time other taxes are certified, and until all of said assessments so apportioned and levied herein have been certified, to certify to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, a full list of all pro- perty liable to assessment and taxation for such work and improvement except such property on which the special assessment aforesaid have 'been paid in full as hereinbefore provided, together with the respect- ive amounts due on each of such lots and pieces of ground, which amounts shall include the annual installments of such special assess- ments together with the interest for one year at the rate of 42 percent per annum, on all unpaid balances of such assessments at the beginning of each such year as aforesaid, and such amounts so certified as herein provided shall be placed upon the tax roll by the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, and collected as all other taxes are collected. Said amounts levied, apportioned and assessed as aforesaid, shall be due and collectible in ten equal install- s}ents, the first becoming due with the taxes levied for the year 1927 and one of said installments.falling due each and every year thereafter until all are paid, and all to be collected..with.interest as in this ordinance provided; PROVIDED, that the owner of any s piece of property liable for. any such assessment.may redeem his property from such liability by paying into the City Treasury the entire amount chargealbe against the same., as in this ordinance designated, at any time within thirty days'after the publication of this ordinance., and before the issuance,of the bonds of said City in payment of the balance of said improvements, and his property so paid on shall not thereafter be liable -for any further assessment for the.cost of said improvements, nor for any part of said bonds. Section 11. There is.hereby further levied and assesses ta' against each lot and piece of ground described in'this ordinance 4-i per cent interest per annum on all of said.installments therein mentioned from the date of the bonds, which maybe issued at the end of thirty days, as specified in the preceding section hereof, as by law provided to the time of collection of the last installment., as provided by law, which said interest shall be collected annually at the same time and in the same manner as said installments are collected; and after the taking effect of this ordinance it shall be the.duty of the City Clerk of said City to annually at the same time other taxes are certified,` r. `. and until all of said assessments so apportioned and levied herein A have been certified,, to certify to the County Clerk of 11m Saline County, aansas, a full list of all property liable to assessment and taxation for such work and improvement except such property on which the special assessments aforesaid have been paid in full as hereinbefore provided, together with the respective amounts due on each of such lots and piece's of ground., which amounts shall include',the annual. ins,tallmenti of such special assessments together,with the interest for.one year,alt the.. rate -of per,,,cent perannum,'on all unpaid balances of such assessments at'/the beginning,of eaoh',sueh,ypar as, aforesaid,, and such amounts so certified .,as,,,4brein;provided shall be plAeed upon the tax roll by., the'County Clerk,o.f,,3_aline'County, Kansas,, and collected as all other taxes are collected.
