AN ORDINANCE prohibiting and conducting or operating of street
stands on walks and sidewalks in the City of Salina*
Kansas, and prohibiting the sale and offering for sale
of goods,, wares or merchandise therein.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
-Section 1. That from and after the first day of July 1927,
it shall be unlaw 1 for any person# firms copartnership or
corporation# either for themselves or for another, to operate or
conduct upon anypube street or sidewalk in the City of Salina,
Kansas, any street or idewalk stand of any kind whatsoever from
which is sold Or offere -for sale any fruit., vegetables,, iee,,ereamp
pop corn, drinks* garden " uok or any goods, wares or merchandise
whatsoever.
Section 2, That all `�, dinances and parts of ordinances now

in effect and authorizing the' ssuanee of any license by the City
Clerk of Salinas Kansas to per ns for the-oonduat or operation
of street stands or sidwwalk st s within said City of Salina are
hereby repealed.
Section 3, That all ordinan s and parts of ordinances of
the City of Salina in conflict herew h are hereby repealed.
Section 4, That nothing herein ontained shall be held to
prohibit the sale of fruit, vegtabless d garden truck by a duly
licensed vendor and peddler whenever suo peddler shall keep the
eartp wagon or other vehicle from which su merchandise Is sold
moving except 'when engaged in making a sale f such merchandise
and except at such times as such person may b reasonably re-
quired to stop f'or temporary purposes.

merchandise whatsoever.

Of Salina are hereby repealed.

Section 4. That nothing herein contained shall be held
