An ordinance creating the office of_Electrical Inspec"t" oT
for the City of Salina, Kansas; regulating and defining
the duties of such office. and establishing rules and reg-
ulations concerning the installation, operation and main-
tenance of electrical wiring and appliances; and fixing
penalties for the violation of the provisions of this ord-
inance; and repealing Ordinance Number 2500 and all other
ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the office of Electrical Inspector in and
for the City of Salina, Kansas is hereby created and said office
'shall be filled by appointment of the City Manager and confirmed
by the Board of Commissioners and shall.be paid such salary as
may now or hereafter be fixed by the Board of Commissioners.
Said Electrical Inspector shall be a competent electrician and
well versed in the rules and requirements of the National Elec-
trical Code. Before assuming authority conferred by this ord-
inance, the Electrical Inspector shall take oath -usually admin-
istered to other city officials, and shall give a bond of the
City of Salina of the penal sum of One 'Thousand Dollars($1,000.00)
conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties, provided
however, that the Building Inspector, if qualified, may at the
direction of the City Manager be appointed as such Electrical
Inspector, in which event however, said official shall receive
no further or other salary or remuneration than that due him
as said Building Insnector.
Section 2. INSPECTOR'S DUTY:- The Electrical Inspector
shall have general supervision over the placing and installation
of all electric light, heat and power wires, fixtures, appliances;
conductors, apparatus -and their -supports in and upon all.build-
ings, shops, outhouses, sheds, and other structures within the
City of Salina in accordance with the provisions of the ordinances
of the City governing the placement and installation of electrical
wiring and appliances therein. It shall be the duty of said
Electrical Inspector to inspect all electric light, heat and power
wires, fixtures and appliances, conductors, apparatus and their
supports placed or installed in or upon any building within the
City of Salina, regardless of whether such placing or installation
is done or made by persons, firms or corporations engaged in the
business of electrical construction or by persons, firms or cor-
porations engaged in other business, but doing their own elec-
trical construction work through -men in their own employ.
Section 3. ENTERING BUILDINGS:- The said Electrical Inspector
or competent assistant appointed by him shall have the right, dur-
ing reasonable hours, to enter any building, manhole or subway .in
discharge of his official duties, or for the purpose of making any
test of the electrical apparatus or appliances therein contained,
and for that purpose shall be given prompt access to all buildings
private or public, and to all manholes and sub -ways, upon appli-
cation to the company or individual owning or in charge or con-
trol of the same, and it shall be unlawful for any such owner or
person in charge thereof to refuse to permit or prevent the Build-
ing Inspector from entering any such building, manhole or sub -way.
Section 4. SPECIAL DECISION:- The Electrical Inspector shall
decide all questions not provided for in this ordinance pertaining
to installation, operation or maintenance of electrical wiring and
apparatus.
1 Section 5. IN CASE Or' FIRE:- The Electrical Inspector, the
r'ire Chief of his deputy shall have the power to, at once, cause
the removal of all wires or the turning off of all electrical cur-
rent where the same shall interfere with the work of the Fire De-
partment during the progress of a fire.
bection 6. LICENSE AND BOND:- Before any person or persons,
firm or corporation shall be granted a license by the City Olerk
to engage in the wiring business for the purpose of placing any
wiring within or upon any building within the corporate limits of
the City of Salina, he or they shall pay to the City Clerk a lic-
ense fee of X25.00 per ,year, which license shall be gp od until the
31st day of December following the granting thereof and no longer,
and shall execute a good and sufficient surety bond in the sum of
$500.00, the same to be approved by the Board of Commissioners, con-
ditioned for the good and faithful performance of work done by him
or them, upon or within any building within the City, and to hold
the City harmless on account of any damages arising from faulty
work or neglect of duty in the protection of the public, and it
.1 shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation or agent
thereof to engage in such business before securing such license and
until the furnishing and approval of such bond, provided however,
that if prior to the adoption of this ordinance any person, firm
or corporation shall have secured or paid for a license under the
.11 provisions of Ordinance Number 2500, no new license shall be required
hereunder until the expiration of such old license, and that at
the expiration of such old license any renewal thereof shall be.
issued for a period from the date of such expiration to the 31st
day of December next following, the fee therefor to be pro -rated
according to the length of time between such expiration and the
December 31st thereafter.
Section 7. PERMITS AND FEES:- No corporation, co -partner-
ship, association or individual.. shall make any installation of
wiring for the transmitting of electrical current for light,
heat or power or make any changes or additions to any wiring that
has already been installed in or upon any building in the City
of Salina without the owner or electrical contractor or person
doing such work first obtaining from the Electrical Inspector
a permit covering such work. A complete record shall be kept
by the Electrical Inspector of all such permits issued and he
shall make a thorough inspection of all work covered by such
permits issued. Such inspections shall be made in accordance
with the rules of the National Board of Fire Underwriters and
ordinances of the City of Salina that have been enacted or may
hereafter be enacted and collect the following fees from the
property owner at the following rates: - r'or the first 8 out-
lets, 60r and 5¢ per outlet for the next 40 outlets, and 2� per
outlet for all additional. For finish inspections, 50� for the
first 30 fixtures and 2� per fixture for each additional fixture
over 30. Drop cords and receptacles counted as.fixtures. Motors
1 to 5 H. I'., 50�, 76 to -10 H. P. 751, 15 to 20 H. P. X1.00', 25
H. P. and over 401.50. For new meter location 25� each; for elec-
tric signs 75r for each thirtyoutlets or fraction thereof addi-
tional. Whenever current is turned on before the entire work cov-
ered by the permit is finished and approved, there shall be paid
to the Inspector an additional inspection fee of 50� for each
subsequent inspection in additional to the regular fees above
provided for. Upon final inspection and approval of any work arra
upon payment of all fees herein provided for, the electrical
Inspector shall furnish in duplicate, to the party to whom the per-
mit was issued, his certificate showing such approval, one copy of
which shall be furnished to the company furnishing the elctric
current before such current shall be turned on. All fees coll-
ected by and paid to the Electrical Inspector or to any of his
assistants or deputies shall be paid into the pity '`Treasury
and accounted for by the Electrical Inspector, and a duplicate
report and accounting of all moneys collected by him shall be filedi
with the City Clerk and all moneys shall be paid into the City
Treasury not later than the 10th day of the month following the
month in which such collections were made.
Section 8. WIRES OVER STREETS:- Every corporation, co-
partnership, association or individual owning or operating a line
of wires over streets, alleys or buildings in the City shall use
only wiresthat are suitable and strong; shall suitably and safely
attach them to strong and sufficient supports and insulate them
at all points of attachment; shall remove all wires abandoned for
use; shall suitably insulate every wire where it enters a building
and if such wire is other than wire designated to carry an electric
light or power or current, it shall be attached at suitable and
convenient points in the circuits, calculated to prevent danger from
fire and near the place of entering the building an appliance cal-
culated to prevent at all times a current of electricity of such in-
tensity or volume as to be capable of injuring electrical of such
instruments or cause fire from entering by means of such wire beyond
the point at which such appliance is attached.
Section 9. CODE:- The installation of electrical wiring and
apparatus for the utilization of electrical current shall be made in
accordance with the current issue of the National Electrical Code
of the National Board of Fire Underwriters.
Section 10. SERVICE ENTRANCE:- Service -wires must be in rigid
iron conduit and must be brought in on the alley side of the build-
ing. Where there is no alley or more than one alley the Electrical
Montractor must cansult the Electrical Inspector before the ser-
vice is run and such wires must not be brought out of the building
over 30 feet from the ground.) Service conduits must be provided
with an approved entrance fitting, having separate bushed holes
of non-combustible material, service' wires to be not less than No.
10 B &- S gauge and terminate into an externally operated service
switch, meter trim type with test clips or blades and necessary fuse
for each circuit.
Section 11. 33ERVICE SWITCHES:- Service switches within the fire
limits shall be 3 wire for 3 circuit and larger installations. out-
side the fire limits three wires for five circuits and larger in-
stallations. Three wire for apartment houses of 3 or more apar-
tments within the corporats limits. In all installations vii thin
the fire limits at least one spare circuit must be provided.
Section 12. PANEL BOX:- Panel boxes shall be used on all
installation of five circuits and larger.
Section 13. GARAGE WIRES:- All wires running from house to
garage'or other out buildings shall be not less than No. 12 B &
S gauge weather proof wire supported on wood or iron brackets
having blass or porcelain insulators.
Section 14. METERLOCATION:- Meters shall be located in fin-
ished basements at the grade door or in the kitchen, or may be
on back porch when properly protected from the weather.
Section 15. LOW CEILING WIRES: When wires are run beneath
the ceiling in kitchens or other rooms where the ceiling is not
over eight feet the same shall be run in metal moulding or metal
conduits.
Section 16. CONDUI^1 OR METAL RACEWAYS:- Approved metallic
conduits shall be used for inclosing all electric light and power
wiring in new buildings, the rewiring of old buildings and in any
installation in old buildings, or additions thereto located with-
in the fire limits, also in churches, theaters and other places
used for public gatherings, garages designed for the occupancy
of more than two cars, commercial houses, manufacturing plants
of all descriptions and apartment houses designed for the occu-
pancy of more than three families, and all office buildings in
the City of Salina. All wiring for electric power, electric
ranges and rectifiers iri whatever location shall be installed in
metallic conduits.
Section 17. MOTOR SWITCHES:- All circuits for operating mot-
orsabove 3 H. P. and below 7Q H. P. and above 150 volts, shall be
equipped with a safety starting switch inclosed in a metal cab-
inet and externally operated and shall be equipped with two sets
of cartridge fuses, one for starting and one for running, or
approved Thermal cut-outs;. All circuits for operating motors
above 5 H. F. capacity shall be equipped with a safety switch
enclosed in a metallic cabinet and externally operated, equipped
with cartridge ibises and a starting device approved by the
Electrical Inspector.
Section 18. DEFECTIVE WIRING:., The Electrical Inspector
shall make a thorough inspection of all electrically wired build-
ings within the City upon request, or whenever he deems it nec-
essary, and where wires or appliances used therein are in
dangerous or unsafe condition, so as to endanger life or prop-
erty he shall notify, in wirting, the person, firm or company owning
using, or operating same, giving said person, firm or company a suit-
able period of time in which to place said defective wires or appliances
in a safe, secure and non -interfering condition. Any person, firm
or company owning, using or operating said defective wires or app-
liances, neglecting or refusing within said time to make the necessary
repairs or changes and to have necessary work completed within the
specified time, shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this ordinance.
The Electrical Inspector shall then have authority to order the supply-
ing company to discontinue electric service to said defective wires or
appliances until such defects shall be repaired in accordance with the
requirements of this ordinance. No corporation, co -partnership, asso-
ciation or individual or agent thereof, shall supply or cause to be
supplied any electric current to conductors or apparatus which has,been
found by said Electrical Inspector to be in an unsafe condition or whicY
has not been installed in conformity with the provisions of this ord-
inance and from which the said Electrical Inspector has ordered the
electric current to be turned off.
Section 19. CIRCUITS::, Not more than 12 openings or 660 watts
shall be allowed in any one circuit without special permission from
the Electrical Inspector.
Section 20. BATH ROOM LIGHTS:- Bathroom lights hereafter in-
stalled must be operated bywall switches or ceiling switches.
section 21. HERDER BOARDS:- All light outlets in new work and
when possible in old work shall have suitable supports extending from
joist to joist and board back of the main entrance switch, and meter
in new work and board back of switch and extend above same to accommo-
date meter on plaster in all old work.
Section 22. ARMOURED CABLE:- Armoured cable may be used on old
house work and upon special permission from the Electrical Inspector.
Section 23. RECEPTACLE OPENINGS:- Where there are more than two
wall receptacle openings on a cireuit,all such receptacle openings shall
be put on a separate circuit run through cellar fused not over 15 amphe7
and run with No. 12 B & S gauge wire.
Section 24. SETTING METER:- No person or company furnishing
electrical power or current shall set the meter or turn current on any
new wiring or repaired or altered wiring before receiving an Inspection
Certificate from the Electrical Inspector certifying his approval of
such wiring.
Section 25. SIZE OF WIRE AND SWITCH:- The size of wire to be
used for motors for 220 V-3 phase, shall be as follows:

Section 26. WIRES IN`i.:FERING WITH FIREKEN:- No wire or wires
shall be installed or operated or maintained over any street, alley
sidewalk or building in the City of Galina which shall be liable to
interfere with the work of the r'ire Department in the use of ladders
or other apparatus, or which shall obstruct or render hazardous
the use of fire escapes, or which shall render any street, alley or
sidewalk dangerous or hazardous to any person travelingthereupon
and on complaint of the Fire Chief, said obstructing wires shall
be removed or properly re -arranged.
Section 27. CONMLED WIRE: No corporation, co -partnership,
association or individual or agent thereof shall hereafter conceal
or cause to be concealed any electrical wiring or apparatus mention-
ed in this ordinance until after same has been inspected and app-
roved by the Electrical Inspector, and I:.e is hereby authorized and
directed to remove any flooring, lathing or plaster, shet metal or
other material which may conceal c'ny wiring or apparatus contrary
to the provisions of this ordinance.
section 28. ALTERATION OR CHANGING:- No alteration or change
shall be made in the electric wiring or apparatus located within a
building for use in connection with the production of electric li&ht
heat or poti^,.r, nor shall any apparatus be installed in any building
therefor, nor shall any change be made in any wiring or apparatus
after inspection without notifying the Electrical Inspector.
Section 29. INSPEUTIONS:" Upon the completion of the instal-
lation of electrical wires and apparatus in any building for use in
connection with electric light, heat or power it shall be the duty
of the corporation, co -partnership, association or individual doing
the same to notify the Electrical Inspector or competent asistant
deputized by him, who shall, at once, inspect the same and if appro-
ved by him the Inspector or deputy shall issue a certificate of sat-'
isfactory inspection, which shall contain the date of inspection
and outline the reslAlts of such examination and shall post a notice
to that effect at the main cutout center and said notice shall be
considered as an express permission to conceal said electrical wir-
ing and apparatus, but no certificate shall be issued unless all
apparatus wires, etc. connected therewith are in strict conformity with
the rules and regulations herein set forth, nor shall current be turned
on any wiring or apparatus until a certificate. of satisfactory inspection
is issued.
Section 30. RELt16E OF REoPGNSIBILITY:- This ordinance shallnot be
construed to relieve or lesseri the responsibility o'f any corporation, Co-
partnership, association, individual or agent thereof, installing, oper-
ating or eontroling any electrical wiring 'or apparatus for damages to
any one injured thereby, nor shall the City be held as assuming any lia-
bility by reason of the inspection authorized herein or certificates to
permit pursuant to the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 31. ENFORCEMENT:- It shall be the duty of the Electrical
Inspector.to enforce the provisions of this ordinance or any ordinance
in force or which may hereafter be adopted concerning electrical wiring
or apparatus.
Section 32. PENTI.LTY:- Any corporation, co -partnership, association o
individual or agent thereof found guilty of violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance, or neglecting or refusing to comply with any
orders or notices of the Electrical Inspector, made pursuant to the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more
than $50.00 and the costs of prosecution for each and every offense.
oection 33. That Ordinance No. 2500 and all other ordinances or
parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and
the same are hereby repealed.
Section 34. THIS ORDINANCE shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official City paper.

public, and it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation or agent
thereof to engage in such business before securing such license and until
the furnishing and approval of such bond; provided however) that if prior to
the adoption of this ordinance any person, firm or corporation shall have se-
cured or paid for a license under the provisions of Ordinance No. 25009 no
new license shall be required hereunder until the expiration of such old
license, and that at the'expiration of such old license any renewal thereof
shall be issued for a period from the date of such expiration to the 31st
day of December next following, the fee therefor to be pro -rated according to
the length of time between such expiration and the december 31st thereafter.'

Whenever current is turned on before the entire work covered
by the permit is finished and approved, there shall be paid to the

Upon final inspection and approval of any work and upon payment of
all fees herein provided for, the Electrical Inspector shall furnish,
in duplicate, to 'the party to whom the permit was issued his certi-
ficate showing such approval, one copy of which shall be furnished
to' the company furnishing the electric current before such current
shall be turned on.
All fees collected by and paid to the Electrical Inspector
or to any of his assistants or deputies shall be paid into the
City Treasury: and accounted for by the Electrical Inspector,
and a duplicate report and accounting of all moneys collected by
him shall be filed with the City Clerk and all moneys shall be
paid into the Oity Treasury not later than the 10th day of the
month following the month in which such collections were made.

convenient points in the circuits, calculated to prevent danger
from fire and near the place of entering the building an applicance
calculated to prevent at all times a current of electricity of such
intensity or volume as to be capable of injuring electrical instru=
ments or cause fire from entering by means of such wire beyond the
point at which such appliance is attached.
Section 9. CODE: The installation of electrical wiring and
apparatus for the utilization of electrical current shall be made
in accordance with the current issue of the National Electrical
Code of the National Board of Fire Underririters.

Section 11 SERVICE SWITCHES: Service switches within the fire
limits shall,be three wire for three circuit and'larger installations.
Outside the fire limits three wires for five circuits and larger in-
-stallations. Three wire for apartment houses of three or more apart`-,
rents within the corporate limits. In all installations within the
fire limits at least one spare circuit must be provided.
Section 12, PADtE,Z BOX: &anel boxes shall be used on all in-
stallation of five circuits and larger.
Section 13. GARAGE WIRES: All wires running from house to gar-
age or other out buildings shall be not less than No, 12 B & S gauge
weatherproof wire supported on wood or iron brackets having glass or
porcelain insulators.
Section 14. METER LOCATION: Meters shall be located in finished
at-� or in J
basements' rade door./kitchen, or may be on back porch when properly
protected from the weather.
Section 15. IOW CEILING WIRES: When wires are run beneath the
ceiling In kitchens or other rooms where the ceiling is not over eight
feet the same shall be run in metal moulding or metal conduits,

Section 16. CONDUIT OR METAL RACEWAYS: Approved metallic con-
duits shall be used for inclosing all electric light and power wiring
in new buildings, the rewiring of old buildings and in any installs-
tion in old buildings, or additions thereto located within the fire
limits, also in churches, theaters and other places used for public
gatherings, garages designed for the occupancy of more than two
cars, commercial houses, manufacturing plants of all descriptions and
apartment houses designed for the occupancy of more than three fam-
ilies and all office buildings in the City of Salina. All wiring
for electric power`, electric ranges and rectifiers in whatever loca-
tion shall be installed in metallic conduits,
Section 17. MOTOR SWITCHES: Ali circuits for operating motors
above three H. P. and below 7Q H. P. above 150 volts, shall be equipped
with a safety starting switch inclosed in a metal cabinet and eater=
nally operated and shall be equipped with two sets of cartridge fuses,
one for starting and one for running, or approved Thermal cut-outs,'
All circuits for operating motors above 5 H. P. capacity shall be
equipped with a safety switch enclosed in a metallic cabinet and ex-
ternally operated, equipped with cartridge fuses and a starting de-
vice approved by the Electrical Inspector.
Section 18: DEFECTIVE WIRING: The Electrical Inspector shall
make a thorough inspection of all electrically wired buildings with-
in -the City upon request, or whenever he deems it necessary; and
where wires or applia mes used therein are in dangerous or unsafe
condition, so as to endanger life or property he shall notify in
writing the person, firm or companyowning', using or operating same`;
giving said person', firm or company a suitable period of time in
which to place said defective wires or appliances in a safe`, secure
and non -interfering condition. Any persori, firm or company owning
using or operating said defective wires or appliances, neglecting
or refusing within said time to make the necessary repairs or changes
and to have necessary work completed within the specified time', shall
be deemed guilty of a violation of this ordinance. The Electrical
Inspector shall :then have authority to order the supplying company
to discontinue electric service to said defective wires or appliances
until such defects shall be repaired in accordance with the re=
ouirements.of this ordinance: No corporation`, co -partnership,
association or individual or agent thereof, shall supply or cause
to be supplied any electric current to conductors or apparatus which
has been found by said Electrical Inspector to be in an unsafe tori-'
dition or which has not been installed in conformity with the pro
visions of this ordinance and from which the said Electrical In-
spector has ordered the electric current to be turned off.'
Section 19 CIRCUITS: Not more than 12 openings or 660 watts
shall be allowed on any one circuit without special permission from
the Electrical Inspector.
Section 20. BATH ROOM LIGHTS: Bathroom lights hereafter in-
stalled must be operated by wall switches or ceiling switches.
Section 21. HEADER BOARDS: All light outlets in new work and
when possible in old work shall have suitable supports extending
from joist to joist and board back of the main_ entrance switch,
and meter in new work and board back of switch and extend above same
to accommodate meter on plaster in all old work.
Section 22. ARMOURED CABLE: Armoured cable may be used on old
house work and upon special permission from the Electrical Inspector.
Section 23_ RECEPTACLE OPENINGS: where there 8�ueom re than two wall

receptacle openings on a circuit" al3/receptacle openings shall be
put on a separate circuit run through cellar fused not over 15
amphers and run with No. 12 B & S gauge wire.
Section 24, SETTING METER: No person or company furnishing
electrical power or edrrent shall set the meter or turn current on
any new wiring or repaired or altered wiring before receiving an
Inspection Certificate from the Electrical Inspector certifying his
approval of such wiring.
Section 25. SIZE OF MIRE AND SWITCH: The size of wire to be
used for motors for 220 V - 3 phase, shall be as follows:

Section 26: WIRES INTERFERING WITH FIREMEN: No wire or wires
shall be installed or operated or maintained over any street, alley`,
sidewalk or building in the City of Salina which shall be liable to
seriously interfere with the work of the Fire Department in the use
of ladders or other apparatus', or which shall obstruct or render
hazardous the use of fire escapes, or which shall render any street',
alley or sidewalk dangerous or hazardous to any person traveling
thereupon and on complaint of the Fire Chief, said obstructing wires
shall be removed or properly re -arranged.
Section 27. CONCEALED WIRING: No corporation, co -partnerships
association or individual or agent thereof shall hereafter conceal
or cause to be concealed any electrical wiring DD apparatus mentioned
in this ordinance until after the same has been inspected and app
roved by the Electrical Inspector, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to remove any flooring, lathing or plaster, sheet metal
or other material which may conceal any electrical wiring or
apparatus contrary to the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 28: ALTERATION OR CHANGING: No alteration or change
shall be made in the electric wiring or apparatus located within a
building for use in connection with the production of electtic light,
heat or power, nor shall any apparatus be installed in any build=
ing therefor, nor shall any change be made in any wiring or
apparatus after inspection without notifying the Electrical Inspectgr.
Section 29; INSPECTIONS: Upon the completion of the installation
of electrical wires and apparatus in any building for use in connect-
ion with electric light, heat or power it shall be the duty of the
corporation, co -partnership, association or individual doing the
same to notify the Electrical Inspector or competent assistant de-
putized by him, who', shall', at once, inspect the same and if approved

by him the Inspector or deputy shall issue a certificate of satis-
factory inspection, which shall contain the date of inspection and
outline on the results of such examination and shall post a notice
to that effect at the main cntiout' center and said notice shall be
considered as an express permission to conceal said electrical wir-
ing and apparatus', but no certificate shall be issued unless all
apparatus wires, etc., connected therewith are in strict conformity
with the rules and regulations herein set forth`, nor shall current
be turned on any wiring or apparatus until a certificate of satis=
factory inspection is issued.
Section 30. RELEASE OF RESPONSIBILITY: This ordinance shall not
be construed to relieve or lessen the responsibility of any corporr=
ation, co -partnership', association; individual or agent thereof.

tus for damages to any one injured thereby, nor shall the City be
held as assuming any liability by reason of the inspection author-
ized herein or certificates or permit pursuant to the provisions of
this ordinance.
Section 31. ENFORCEMENT: It shall be the duty of the Electric=
al Inspector to enforce the provisions of this ordinance or any
ordinance now in force or which may hereafter be adopted concerning
electrical wiring or apparatus.
Section 320' PENALTY: Any corporation', co=partnership`; associa=
tion or individual or agent thereof found guilty of violating any
of the provisions of this ordinance', or neglecting or refusing to
paj comply with any orders or notices of the Electrical Inspectors
made pursuant to the provisions of this ordinance, shall be fined
not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00)
and the costs of prosecution for each and every offense.
Section 33, That Ordinance No. 2500 and all other ordinances or
parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed.
