An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 09,577.89 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to C. P. Barrington from the Special
Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of the City of
Salina, Kansas for the payment of 850 of the contract price
for the cost of excavating, grading, curbing, guttering and
paving certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas, acaording
to City Engineer s Estimate Number 1-A on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this Ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before September 1st, 1924, and to bear interest
at the rate of one and one-fourth per cent (1-1/4/) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina', Kansas:
Section 1. Tha.t,the sum of $92577.89 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to C. P. Barrington from the Special
Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of the City
of Salina', Kansas for the payment of 85% of the contract price
for the cost of excavating, grading, curbing, guttering and
paving certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas, according
to City Engineer's Estimate Number 1-A on file in the office'
Of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina'.
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before September 1st, 1924, and to be interest
at the rate of one and one-fourth per cent (1 -IA%) per
annum.
Section 3^
This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage.
