2995 Vac AlleyAn Ordinance vacating a certain part of a certain alley in the
City of Salina, Kansas, formerly constituting the north
15 feet of Lot 33, on Santa Fe Avenue in the City of
Salina, and accepting a deed from The InternationalHan-
vester Company of America to a tract of land seven (7)
feet in width, extending east and west along the south
side of the present alley which was formerly the north
fifteen (15) feet of Lot fihirty-Six (36) on ifth Street
in the City of Salina,,Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That that part of the present fifteen (15)
foot alley lying south of Lot Thirty -Three (33) on Santa Fe Avex
us in the City of Salina, Kansas, according to the original Plat
thereof, and particularly described as follows, to -wit: "Comment
ing at the southwest corner of Lot Thirty-three (33) on Santa Fie
Avenue, running thence east along the south line of Lot 33 on
Santa Fe Avenue, 120 feet to the west line of the alley running
north and south between Fifth Street and Santa Fe Avenue, thence
south 15 feet, thence west 120 feet to the east line of Santa F'e
Avenue, thence north fifteen (15) feet to the place of beginnirM
constituting what was formerly the north 15 feet of ''ot 35 on
Santa Fe Avenue, be and the same is hereby vacated, set aside ax
discontinued as a public alley and driveway and that such grount
so vacated shall revert to and become a part of Lot 35 on Santa
Fe Avenue in the City of Salina, Kansas, in accordance with the
Statutes of the State of Kansas in such cases made and provided.
Section 2. That the City of Salina shall accept from
The International Harvester Company of America, a corporation,
deed covering the following described land, to -wit: Beginning at
a point 28 feet north of the southeast corner of Lot 36 on
Fifth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, according to the ori
inal Plat thereof, running thence west 130 feet along a line pax
llel with the south line of said Lot 36 to a point at the inter-
section of such line with the west line, extended, of the alley
running north and south between and parallel with Fifth Street
and Santa Fe•Avenue, thence north seven (7) feet along the west
line of said alley, extended, thence east 130 feet along a line
parallel with the south line of said Lot 36, to the west line of
Fifth Street, thence south along a the west line of Fifth Street
seven (7) feet to the place of beginning, said tract of land to
be used for alley and driveway purposes in connection with the
present 15 foot alley lying north of and immediately adjacent to
the seven (7) foot strip of land above described.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after the execution and delivery of a deed above
mentioned from The International Harvester Company of America
to the City of Salina, and after the recording of said deed in,
the office of the Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas, and
after the publication of this ordinance once in the official City
paper.

of Salina, and accepting a deed from The International Har-
vester Company of America to a tract of land seven (7) feet
