2994 AppropriationsORDINANCE NUMBER 2994. An Ordinance making an appropriation for the purchase of time certificates of deposit from the Firemens Relief Fund of the City of Salina, Kansas. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of $5,000.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the Firemen's Relief Fund in the City Treasury of the City of Salina, Kansas for the investment of certificates of depos- it in the various banks of the City of Salina, Kansas, ranging in time twelve (12) months and drawing four (4%) interest per, annum. Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to issue warrants countersigned by the City 14anager upon the City Treasurer for the purpose and amount specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby directed to issue warrants countersigned by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the purpose and amount specified in Section One `(1) of this ordinance.
