ORDINANCE NO. 3397
AN ORDINANCE relating to the appropriation of certain private property
for the opening, widening and extending of North Street between
Ninth and Eleventh Streets.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:

SECTION 1. That it is deemed necessary by the Board of Com-
missioners of said city to appropriate certain private property of
the City of Salina for the purpose of opening, widening, extending
to North Street from a point in Forth Street approximately 140 feet,
more or less west of the west line of Ninth Street, to the east
line of Eleventh Street, so as to cause said street within such
limits to run in a straight line, diagonally, between a point in
North Street approximately 140 feet, more or less, west of the west
line of Ninth Street, and the present intersection of North Street,
west of Eleventh Street, with the east 'Line of Eleventh Street, said
street when so opened to be 70 feet in width, and that the City
Engineer of the City of ;Salina be and he is hereby ordered and dir-
ected to make a survey and description of the land necessary to be
appropriated so as to permit the opening of said street as aforesaid
and to file the same with the City Clerk on or before the 11th day
of July, 1927.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
