2985 Appropriations- 0RDINANCE_NUMBER_2985.
An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $54,543.87 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to C. P. Barrington from the
Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of
the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 85% of the
contract price for the cost of sucrinb, guttering, excavating,
grading and paving certian streets in the City of Salina,
Kansas according to City Engineers Estimate Number 3, on
file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That a Temporary j�ote of the City of Salina,
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to
be payable on or before September 1st, 1924, and to bear
interes t at the rate of one and one-fourth (1-1/4%) per
cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.

Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of
Salina, Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned
in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note
to be payable on or before Jeptember 1st, 1924, and to bear
interest at the rate of one and dne=fourth (1-1/4%) per cent
per annum,
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.
