An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
-:BE IT ... ORDAINFD.by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $19,490.36 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to C. P. Barrington from the Special
Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of the City
of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 85% of the contract price
for the cost of excavating, grading, curbing, guttering and
paving; certain streets in the City of Salina, according to
City Engineer's Estimate Number 2, on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. Tnat scrip of the City of )alina, Kansas be
drawn on the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim
mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip
to be payable on or before September lst, 1924 and to bear
interest at the rate of one and one-fourth per cent (11%)
per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:

same is hereby appropriated to C. P. Barrington from the
Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer
of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 85% of the
contract price for the cost of excavating, grading, curbing,
guttering and paving certain streets in the City of Galina
according to City Engineer's Estimate Number 2, on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
