3367 Grading & Paving of Country Club RoadORDINANCE NUMBER 3367. __-_- An Ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the grading and paving of Country Club Road from the end of the existing pavement at intersection of Country Club Road with 1arymount Road, thence east 1880 feet to the corporate limits at Hilldale Road. BE ST (RDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the contract entered into between the City of Salina and L. W. Rexroad on April 18th, 1927, and executed by the Mayor on behalf of the Board of Commissioners on said date, for the grading and paving of Country Club Road from the end of the existing pavement at its intersection with Marymount Road, thence east 1880 feet to the corporate limits at Hilldale Road, in accordance with the proposal of said L. Iff. Rex - road filed in the office of City Clerk and submitted to the Board of Commissioners on April 18th, 1927 be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed; and that said Country Club Road be se improved within said limits, as provided for in said contract in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor pre- pared by the City Engineer and now on file in the office of City Clerk, which plans and specifications have been heretofore and are now hereby approved by the Board of Commissioners, with 6 -inch reinforced conrete pavement 20 feet wide, at and for the contract price of $2.48 per square yard; with all necessary excavating including all free haul, filling, rolling, tamping, fine grading, raising and lowering manholes, etc., as per specifi- cations, at the contract price of .80 per cubic yard and includ- ing all other work necessarily incidental to the contruction of said improvements at and for the unit prices contained in said contract for such work, which said proposal and contract are hereby made a part of this ordinance as fully as if set forth at length herein. Section 2. That all excavating and filling and all of the labor performed and all material furnished for such work shall be in strict conformity to and in compliance with the plans and specifications of the City Engineer, above referred to and whcih are hereby incorporated into and made a part hereof as fully as though written out at length herein. Section 3. That the performance, statutory and maintenance bonds furnished by said contractor pursuant to the provisions of said contract, dated April 18th, 1927 and executed by the South- ern Surety Company as surety be and the same are hereby approved. Rexroad filed in the office of City Clerk and submitted to the Board of Commissioners on April 18th, 1927 be.and the same I is hereby ratified and confirmed; and that said Country Club Road be so improved within said limits, as provided for in said contract, in accordance with the plans and specifications there- for prepared by the City Engineer and now on file in the office of City Clerk, which plans and specifications have been heretofore and are now hereby approved by the Board of Commissioners, with 6 in. reinforced concrete pavement 20 ft. wide, at and for the contract price of $2.48 per sq. yd.', with all necessary excavation including all free haul, filling, rolling, tamping, fine grading, raising and lowering manholes, etc., as per specifications, at the contract price of $ .80 per cu. yd. and including all other work necessarily incidental: to-° the construction of said improvements at and for the unit prices contained in said contract for such L work, which said proposal and contract are hereby made a part of this ordinance as fully as if set forth at length herein. Section 2. That all excavating and filling and all of the labor performed and all material furnished for such work shall be in strict conformity to and in compliance with the plans and specifications of the City Engineer, above referred to and which are hereby incorporated into and made a part hereof as fully as though written out at length herein. Section 3.
