ORDINANCE NO. 3369

AN ORDINANCE ratifying and confirming a contract for the curbing,
guttering, excavating, grading and paving of Eleventh Street
from the north line of Elm Street to the SoutF7EYne_o_f_B Tsop
Street in the City of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners ofthe City Of Salinas
Kansas:
Section 1. ,l, hat the contract entered into between the City
of Salina and H. J. Taylor Construction Company, on April 18th,
1927, and executed by the Mayor on behalf of the Board of Commissioner
of said city on said date, for the curbing, guttering, excavating,
grading and paving of Eleventh Street from the north line of Elm
Street to the south line of Bishop Street in said city, in accordance
with the proposal of said H. J. Taylor Construction Company filed in
the office of City Clerk and submitted to the Board of Commissioners
on April 18th, 1927, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed
and that said Eleventh Street be so improved within said limits, as

rovided for in said contract, in accordance with the plans and
specifications therefor prepared by th6 City Engineer and now on
file in the office of the City Clerk, which plans and specifications
have been heretofore and are now hereby approved by the Board of
Commissioners, which work shall include all necessary excavation
and grading, and drainage necessarily incidental thereto, with the
following materials and at and for the following prices 'to -wit:
2� in. brick paving on 6 in. concrete base, 26 ft. in width,
per sq. yd. 2.98
6 in. combined curb & gutter 30 in. wide, from
back of curb to paving line, per lin. ft. .87
Excavation including all free haul, filling,
rolling, tamping, fine grading, raising and
lowering manholes, etc., as per spedifioations

per cu. yd. .75
2 Standard Inlets, each 40.00
Section 2. That all excavating and filling and all of the
labor performed and all material furnished for such work shall
be in strict conformity to and in compliance with the plans and
specifications of the City Engineer, above referred to and which
are hereby incorporated into and made a part hereof as fully as
though written out at length herein.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Board of Commissioners of the City of
