W. Rexroad and in said contract, which proposal and contract are hereby made a part of this ordinance by reference as fully as if set forth herein. Section 2, 1hat all excavating and filling and all of the labor performed and all material furnished for such work shall be in strict conformity to and in compliance with the plans and speci- fications of the City Engineer, above referred to and which are here- by incorporated into and made a part hereof as fully as though written out at length herein. BE IT ORDAINED by the board of Commissioners of the City of Salina., Kansas: Section 1. 'That the contract entered into between the City of Salina and L. W. Rexroad on April 18th, 1927, and executed by the Mayor on behalf of the Board of Commissioners of said city on said date, for the curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving Of Crawford Avenue from the east line of Tenth Street to the east line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad right-dE-way in said city, in accordance with the proposal of said L. W. Rexroad filed in the office of City Clerk and submitted to the Board of Commissioners on April 111th,, 1927, be and the same is hereby rati- fied and confirmed and that said Crawford Avenue be so improved within said lirpits, as provided for in said contract, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer and now on file in the office of the City Clerk, which plans and specifications have been heretofore and are now hereby approved by the Board of Commissioners with 6 inch combined curb and gutter 24 inches wide exclusive of width of curb, at the con- tract price of .90 cents per lin. ft., and with 7 inch reinforced concrete paving 30 feet in width, at the contract price of $2.69 D per sq, yd., and with excavation including all free haul, filling, rolling, tamping, fine grading, raising and lowering manholes, etc., as per specifications, at the contract price of 80 cents per cu. yd.; and which work shall further include all double gutter, wooden headers, straight curb, manholes, inlets, inlet connections and other work necessarily incidental to the construction of said work at and for the unit prices contained in the proposal of L.
