AN ORDINANCE authorizing the sale of certain real estate by the City
of Salina and directing the execution of a conveyance thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
SECTION 1. That the following described real estate, in the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, to -wit: Beginning at the South
east corner of Lot 30 Block 1, Riverside Park Addition, thence north
along the east line of Lots 30 and 31, a distance of 86.0 feet, thence
in a southwesterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a point situated
35:0 feet west and 67.0 feet north of the south east corner of Lot 30;
thence in a southwesterly direction 47:8 feet to a point situated 81.0
feet west and 53.0 feet north of the souteast corner of lot 30; thence
in a southwesterly direction 91.0 feet to a point on the south line
of lot 30, 154.0 feet west of the soutwest corner of said lot; thence
east along the south line of lot 30 a distance of 154.0 feet to the
place of beginning; now owned by the City of Salina, be sold to
Everett L. Brookhouser for the sum of $269.71 to be paid in cash,
and the assumption by said purchaser of all taxes and assessments
hereafter payable on said property, including general taxes for the
year, 1926 and special paving, curbing and guttering assessments now
and -hereafter assessed against all of said lots 30 and 31 in Block 1
Riverside Park Addition, as the same become due, beginning with the
assessment and installment payable in December, 1926, and that the
City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to certify hereafter at the
time other taxes are.certified, as against the property conveyed as
above described, all of the unpaid special assessments now levied.

Section 2. That upon the payment of the City of Salina, in
consideration of cash in hand paid, above provided for, the Mayor
and City Clerk of the City of Salina are hereby directed to execute
and deliver to said Everett L. Brookhouser, the special warranty
deed of the City of Salina conveying to said purchaser the property
described in Section One of this ordinance, upon the conditions
hereinabove specified.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication once in the official city paper.
