AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for --general revenue and
other purposes in the City of Salina, Kansas,
for the year 192.
BE IT ORDAINED._by the Board of Commissioners of the. City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sume of 9.42 mills on.the dollar be
and the same is hereby levied on all real, personal and mixed
property of whatsoever kind or nature within the City of Salina,
Kansas for the year 1926 for the purposes.hereinafter set forth
and apportioned and divided as follows:

For the purpose of raising funds for the main-
tenance of a Fire Department and for the purchase

Section 2. That the sum of 0.76 mills on the dollar be and
the same is hereby levied on all real estate in the City of Salina,
Kansas for the year 1926 for the purpose of paying the annual
interest and installment on Sewer Bonds issued during 1916-1917-
1918-1919-1920-1922-1923 and 1924.
Section 3. That valuation of the property upon which the
foregoing taxes are levied and assessed be in all cases taken
from the assessment rolls of the present year in the office of
the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas and that it shall be
the duty of the City Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas, immediately
upon and after the passage of this ordinance and on or before the
25th day of August, 1926 to transmit a duly certified copy of the
same to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, so that the levy
may be placed upon the tax roll and the taxes collected according
to law.
Section 4., This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official City paper.

the foregoing taxes are levied and assessed be in all cases
taken from the assessment rolls of the present year in the office
of the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas and that it shall

or before the2:5th day of August, 1926 to transmit a duly certified
copy of the same to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, so
