AN ORDINANCE appropriating money for the payment of a certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $1500 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to W..S. Norris, out of the law department fund in the
City Treasury of the City of Salina in payment -of special services
rendered to the City of Salina by said W. S. Norris in the case of
The Salina Waterworks Company - vs - The City of Salina, Kansas, pur-
suant to the agreement therefore made by said W. S. Norris with.the
Board of Commissioners of said city.
Section 2. That the Director of finance be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to issue a warrant, countersigned by the City
Manager upon the City Treasury for the payment of the claim mentioned
in Section One (1) hereof.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
